Valid Eucharist

The center of the life and worship of St Paul’s is the Sacrament of the Eucharist, or the Mass, validly (that is, properly and authentically) celebrated, like all the seven Sacraments at St Paul’s, by Priests and Bishops validly ordained in the Apostolic Succession. For 2,000 years the historic Catholic Church has taught that when the Eucharist is validly celebrated the bread and wine truly become the real Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, merely retaining the outward appearances of bread and wine.
