Libraries were a part of
the earliest Christian churches, and St. Paul's continues that tradition.
St.
Paul himself was devoted to reading.
The Parish Library supports the
mission of our parish and provides materials for spiritual growth and development.
It is open to everyone. There is a warm comfortable atmosphere with
a variety of lighting levels and seating.
The library is located in the first
floor hallway of the Parish House, right next to the parish office.
If the door isn't open, knock before entering; it's a popular place for
meetings.
About once a month, photocopies of the covers of new books
and videos are posted on the bulletin board and the librarian wheels a
book truck full of new materials into Coffee Hour for people to look at
before shelving.
The Parish Library is now supplemented
by an online
Link
Library, which is always open.
Catalog
A complete author, title, and subject
catalog is contained in the black notebook that normally rests on the glass-topped
study table.
Loans
-
Circulating materials are loaned for
a period of one month to all who have a mailbox at St. Paul's, or at the
discretion of the Rector.
-
Directions for self-checkout are under
the glass on the large study table.

Returned materials should be put in
the wicker basket under the table.
